How It All Started
Long before the farm shop, oils and wider Yare Valley offering, the land was farmed with the same practical, hands-on approach that still guides the farm today.
These old photographs give a glimpse into the early years of family farming in the Yare Valley, from traditional machinery to working horses and everyday life on the land. Over time, the farm has grown and adapted, but its roots remain firmly in Norfolk farming heritage.

From the fields to the farm shop, everything here is connected by the same simple idea: making the most of what the land provides.
Ever since settling beside the Norfolk Broads in the early 1900’s the Mack Family have been farming the rich soil of the Yare Valley.
Crops that are grown include potatoes, cereals, beans, sugar beet, and oil seed rape that is mechanically pressed to create our versatile and award winning Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil , infusions and dressings.
Through our farm shop this wonderful farm produce can be purchased along with our potatoes, cold pressed rapeseed oil and many other local goodies. It is the perfect way to experience a working farm in the heart of the Norfolk countryside.
Only a stones throw away from our farm shop our indoor Timeshare Swimming Pool offers you your own personal swimming slot any day of the week. Here on the farm you can also find the superb Teles Patisserie run by Joaquim and his wife Anna.
